Sing with Ashten Studio Policies Agreement
STUDIO POLICIES
The Sing with Ashten team does their absolute best to accommodate everyone’s schedule, requests, and specific needs. To ensure that we have adequate availability, we have implemented the following policies. We ask that all students be cognizant and respectful of these when scheduling voice lessons.
Monthly Membership
Your monthly membership fee is due on the first day of every month and is non-refundable. For any declines or insufficient funds transactions that are not resolved by the fifth of the month, your lessons and your time slot will be forfeited and all meetings will be cancelled. To resume lessons, you will need to wait until the following month and will be subject to the availability of that month and may have to choose a different day and time going forward. The only exception to this policy is the month of January. Payments for the month of January will be due on the 15th of that month.
Membership Changes & Cancellations
There are multiple membership options – including lesson length and lesson frequency. Students can be on a 30 or 45 minute plan; part-time (2-3 lessons/month, every other week), full-time (4-5 lessons/month, every week).
Memberships must be canceled or updated at least 15 days prior to the first of the next month. This can be done online by filling out our online Lesson Suspension/Change Form. Changes and/or cancellations communicated by phone or in person are not accepted and will need to go through this form to be processed.
Missed Lessons
Membership fees are non-refundable and lessons cannot be rolled-over month to month. Aside from your first month, membership fees cannot be pro-rated.
If you cannot attend your regularly scheduled lesson, let us know via email (contact {at} singwithashten.com). Students have the option to schedule up to 1 makeup lesson per month via this form. If less than 24 hours notice is given for your missed lesson, you will not be eligible for a make up lesson and that lesson will be considered a no show if unattended.
In the rare instance the studio or a teacher cannot teach a lesson, a makeup lesson will be offered outside of your once a month makeup limit. If a makeup cannot be scheduled within four weeks time, you will receive a refund for that missed lesson.
Studio Holidays
Our studio is closed on the week of Thanksgiving, the last two weeks of December, the first two weeks of January and the entire month of July. All other weeks and holidays during the year are subject to studio policies.
Tardiness
Please be on time! Lesson minutes lost due to student tardiness are not applied to the next lesson and are not prorated. Teacher schedules are often fully booked and teachers cannot run late to compensate.
Use of Image/Audio Consent
From time to time, Sing with Ashten may take photographs, video, and/or audio recordings of students. Recordings, audio and/or visual, may be made during lessons and performances, however, only recordings from performances and public events like workshops may be used by Sing with Ashten for public display – Recordings from private one-on-one lessons are kept private and confidential, and will be used only for the student’s training and improvement.
